Threw a book at you? For offering him a $5 discount? Must have been holiday shopping: in the spirit and all that.

Seriously, though, why am I not surprised it was a Martha Stewart cookbook...

Hey, I read your response to the whole "Is fibromyalgia a real illness" issue. I just want to say thank you, I went back to re-read the question today and see if it'd piss me off less this time and was once again struck by blind rage at the stupidity of people. But there where you and fiercenailbunny to restore some of my faith in humanity and the rage subsided... This ignorance of this disease that hurts someone I love so much really makes me want to throw some furniture around or something.

I have had this exact issue for the last few weeks-- even down to the bathroom "separation" area. Bottom line is, as long as they are playing and it isn't serious fighting, just squirt when one of them sounds frantic.

It took about 6 weeks, but my two cats are getting along famously. And they both freeze when I pull out the water bottle.

They're not required -- it depends on the fine print on the 30-day warranty when you bought the car. But it certainly would be kind of them. You should ask for a loaner car even if it isn't on the warranty... ask nicely and persistently.

I saw it on opening night. I read the book years ago and it was wonderful to be reacquainted with the story again and to share it with my family. The film was excellent; I particularly enjoyed DeNiro's performance.

I'm one book behind. Have to finish Half-Blood Prince before I can move on... it has been a busy couple of years.

  • in Payment Problems, taragl says:

I'm going to assume this is ebay. I wouldn't do it. Paypal is secure enough. You stated the terms in your auction and the buyers should abide by them. It would be a shame to learn about a new card swiping scam with a $2000 item.
