lsuknight's profile.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I was kidnapped by pirates and brought to the frozen wastes of northern England, specifically Leeds, chained in an ivory tower, and forced to work day and night on a doctoral thesis in medieval studies. I live near the border of crazy town, with only a few things keeping me sane, among them are my wife, Kat, and my weblog.

What, I'm the only one who likes mead? Where are all the other vikings and Anglo-Saxons? I suppose they don't surf the net too much.

I voted no, but after casting my vote I recalled my experience with coffee. I love coffee, but I can no longer drink it. If I do, it makes me seriously ill. It was very difficult to give up, but I never succumb to temptation, even though one of my fellow postgraduates makes a pot of coffee in the postgraduate office every day, forgets that I don't drink coffee, and always asks if I want some. That combined with the smell of freshly brewing coffee breaks my heart, but still, I say no. I'll have tea.

Rufus Sewell definitely looks the part. He's a great actor, but can he pull off a convinving Texas accent? If so, yeah, I'd pick him over Nathan Fillion. Kudos on your other casting choices too. I would still choose Willem Dafoe over Ben Kingsley for Starr.

I met my wife on the message board of NeilGaiman.com, but it's a site that isn't specifically dedicated to meeting people.
