And I do try to use the van only if it's necessary (weekly shopping, driving home to parents,...) and for travelling (of course as it is a camper van), but sometimes I'm also lazy.
In the past I drove 30000 to 35000 km per year, so 12000 is half of it. But it's still about 3t of CO2 per year and that's twice as much as the average according to WWF.
