Same here. I'd maybe watch some events, but I always forget. Also, because of the time difference, the Olympics are on really late at night here.

I sympathize - many things are a lot harder when you're 32 than when you're 19, especially if you have a family to support.
I'd recommend looking at opportunities for you to study while holding down a job, or maybe a part-time job. Is that possible where you are? I know two people (one is 32, the other is almost 40) who study in the evenings and on weekends, while working full-time AND being in a relationship. My mother started a second degree at 46 while working full-time. I myself work part-time while I finish my PhD. It's not easy, but it can be done.
Just look at all your choices carefully and try to figure out which one would suit you best.Feb 16, 2010 11:36 AM - in fighting over a friend, inafish says:
Clearly, you need a combination of three possible answers - ignore them, take some time of if you can and move on.
It's hard when someone you like doesn't want to be your friend. Especially when you've once been close. I don't envy you. But you have to realize that you can't force anyone to be your friend. Don't blame the other girl, please. Okay, she sounds like she doesn't like you much, but my guess is that she was totally jealous of you while you were dating her best friend. If you back off, she may back off you, too.Feb 16, 2010 11:30 AM - (show all)

No, sorry. I always knit the same pair of socks (standard pattern) over and over again in different sizes :-). I'm planning to learn some new patterns soon, but at the moment I'm caught up in a huge long-term project that involves knitting as many socks as possible and selling them at a Christmas market.
