now i remember having read many things from asimov, but i can't remember what these things were. short stories, certainly. i remember one where aliens abduce a couple of strangers to try to study mating habits, and one about a planet used a sewage system, where all thrash was sent to recycling, and the family in charge of the work lived in a mansion with all comfort and lusux, but were the lowest in the society for dealing with thrash. i so hate it when i notice that i read good things as a kid and can't remember them anymore!

no, i didn't. i think i've read something when i was a kid, but i don't really remember. but i haven't seen any women in nightfall, and i noticed it yesterday. i'm starting to wonder if i'm reading the right thing, though, because the one i'm reading is only 23 pages long. i wouldn't call it a novel, it's like a short story for me. but then, i like big books.

  • in losing weight, Magpie says:

It's not about pounds (or kilos grin ) it's about inches (or.. centimeters?). All of (ignoring the meth) the advice above is good, imho. Just want to add my two cents (or pence. beating a dead horse now?). My mom and I both go to Curves to work out. She's wanting to get healthier and lose weight and I want to get healthier and tone up. We've both learned that the best way to gauge your weight loss is with a measuring tape. The worst way to keep track of your weight while your trying to lose it is with a scale, because muscle weighs more than fat and weight loss doesn't happen overnight. Eat healthy , exercise a minimum of three times a week (join a gym or Curves if you can), make sure you stretch before and after exercise, drink lots of water, and ditch your scale. Also, learn to look at your body and see things about it to love instead of hate.
