Ok, unless tatoos are something you want to go all out on and get full sleeves back and whatnot, then a safe guide rule, is if the piece is small wait at least a year knowing where you want it, occaisionally drawing it on or a simpler version with a sharpie. Large pieces, three years. This has stopped my friends and I from getting some really stupid tattoos. And if your getting piercings, start in less painful hidden places, you do NOT want to find out your body is allergic to certain kinds of rings and bars after you put one somewhere really sensitive.
