Magpie, sometimes you crack me up. You sound just like the kid in 'The Leader' (Roger McGough). But in the same sweet way :) .
Gaiman-night refers to that dearinternet question: that 79% of those who found dearinternet did so through Neil Gaiman's blog. He is giving a talk at IOE, in London, tonight. And I was just wondering whether there was an correlation between people attending and dearinternetite-ers. But I am sure you can have your own Gaiman-night in Texas, just ask Lorraine nicely, book about one million light years in advance, and don't forget to attach a case of mangoes to request...
Maybe two or three cases of magoes would bump the in advance bit to only one hundred thousand light years.... hmm..... Or perhaps I'll end up as one of those slightly odd (ahem) fans that travel to every con, signing, appearance, reading, and grocery store that said writer goes to. In any case, have fun Londonites!
