I like Johnny's idea . . . start a dearinter.net utopia. But we should also remember that for many physical proof is more powerful than beliefs. Sadly beliefs are hard to change. I do fear what may come of this more because it implies the power of religous beliefs over science.
there are much easier things to deal with than them new-fangled "ideologies" and such. so if the church MUST adopt, i say they should just get a puppy!

remember that the Catholic church employs real scientists, and doesn't jump on every fad that comes along. Their daft ideas are steeped in tradition.
