dear internet,
i'm not an insecure person.
so why am i fuming that my man didn't invite me to a party with people in his academic program tonight? Inititally we'd had plans, and then I get this voicemail on my cell about how he wants to watch movies with the guys. I call back an hour later, hear female voices. He says it's not just the guys anymore, its half the people in his program. There's a silence, during which he fails to invite me, and then I say "just call me tomorrow". There's this one woman he keeps having lunch with, and I'm finding myself wondering whether she's there. Do I have anything to worry about? Should I be questioning his committment to the relationship?
