dear internet,

i wrote a story. it was based on a really cool, really strange dream that i had. when i finished it, i was pretty happy with it, and the only negative feedback i've gotten so far, is that the ending was predictable. now i am wondering, do i change the ending so that it is more surprising, even though that is _not_ how the dream ended, or should i view the dream as perfect inspiration and not change it no matter what anyone says?
