re: Who is Responsible? by anonymous questioner

dear internet,

something has been bothering me lately. no one (particularly in american society, as i have not seen it nearly as much overseas) seems to have respect any longer... for anything. i see 12 year olds with the word "sexy" written across their butt and a tiny tank top on walking with their mothers, and if their mother refuses to buy them such an outfit, the kid puts up a huge fit until mom, usually, relents. i see parents sitting in restaurants chitchatting with each other while their kids run amok, making halfhearted attempts when they (sometimes) realize the displeasure of everyone else to stop them and then just say "oh well. kids these days..." this breeds higher. i am in the military, and now the new breed of soldier has the same issues, sagging pants in a uniform, lists as long as your arm for disrespect offenses, and not a care in the world. my real question is, who is responsible for this new breed?
