There's a cute girl who lives a thousand miles away. Should I date her? At most we'd be able to see each other once a month.

    One of the many things you should seriously consider is if the good times of the relationship will outweigh the hardships and bad times you will face being so far apart. If they don't then it may not be a good idea. Anyone who has gone through it will tell you that long-distance is hard. Very, very hard. It can work out in the end, but it depends on the circumstances and where both of your lives are heading. I'm just as sentimental and romantic as the next person, but sometimes you have to just count it up to bad timing and poor circumstances. Just remember there are other people who will love you and whom you will fall in love with and they will be less than 1000 miles away from you.

    Second that and like to add that the success of a longdistance relationship much depends on if you have the same way of handling the time and dinstance. And if you don't deal with it the same way then at least you have to understand the other persons way of handling it and probably also accept it, both of you.
