These, along with one of those weird 330ml cans of Coke, used to be my lunch in Germany. I was the most unhealthy child ever. They also make really good Weingummi and they have coca-cola bottles. Unfortunately, the Haribo here is either made in Hungary or Spain and isn't quite as good as the real, honest-to-god, made in Germany bears.

German candy, actually. And thus a huge part of my childhood - and still a favourite indulgence!
I thought it was German too, but the bag said it was from hungary. Okay yeah, Wikipedia confirms--German.
And I've thought, ever since I was a wee lassie that it was danish! Go figure... lol

I'm also in love with Haribo Frogs. Probably more so than bears, if that is even possible.
haribo's slogan in denmark is much less complimentary. here it's simply, "haribo. it's good"
