Combination: One dead relation (favourite one) - ghastly. Just got reprimanded over someone being left off funeral list (not my fault) - major guilt and unhappiness. One friend married - terrific. Another friend popping off (to the great pie in the sky) imminently - vile One friend hopefully soon to give birth - superhappiness Starting work within a really awful cult-like existence come Monday - unbelievable miserableness and stress.
And it is only the 3rd of January. Be gone already, 2010!
Still. Have health. Have friends. Have family. And aside from feeling s++++ right at this moment, and nostalgic for that peaceful time a few years ago when I did a New Years question, I will echo resolutely:
sorry to hear that, littlewolf! but the badness usually gets replaced...
myself, i said meh, mostly because it has not been much of a change... yet. i have things to look forward to this year, like moving (possibly to a tropical location! since it is somewhere around 0 farenheit right now, that would be lovely) and maybe even seeing my husband for a bit! most things would be an improvement over 2009...
Update: Another nice relation clonked it yesterday BUT on the plus side, after only four (scary) weeks, I gave in my notice this morning at gharsley work and soooo happy :D!
Got into a course I am very interested in.
So, in a very cheerful mood (about max 5-10 days left in job as opposed to 104 - yes, I was counting the days. And sure I'll be broke - but so happy!) I wish elapheg a wonderful year ahead and laner all her heart desires! hugs everyone and beams with happiness!
