re: cat logic by laner

dear internet,

why does the cat wait until i have to pee to jump onto my lap, stomp on my belly, and then lay across me with her front feet draped over my typing arm?

never fails... she is in fact currently most perturbed by the disturbances of me typing this profound question to you, interwebs, as it jostles her resting postion... yet i find her adorable, particularly as she rolls over and stretches her kitty arms over her kitty head so i couldn't possibly disturb her cuteness... why does she torture me so?! for my own good, or for her nefarious needs?!

My cat does the saaaame thing! Sit for 2 hours on the computer or watching tv, reading, etc, and no cat! Decide to get up for some vital reason in a couple minutes, and BOOM! Cat on the lap..... Never freakin' fails.

    But....

He's so cute with the "I love you mommy" look....

not so much bloated as warm and therefor cuddly... or perturbed by the fact that she's not the center of your attention...

or hungry or needing to pe or be cuddled... my first cat used to lay on my face and trample it (sometimes with claws) until i woke up and gave him a bit of attention...
