    I said bake them now - although I probably wouldn't. In fact, I'd save it for a special occasion that somehow never comes, and then I'd discover it in the back of my cupboard one day about two years past the sell-by date and throw it away. Don't fall into that trap!

    my special occasion, however, would be whenever i actually had eggs on hand. i for some reason never have eggs and rarely realize it until i have already opened the mix.

    mix? Save the mix for last ditch situations. Make the brownie from scratch - you'll never do mix packets again! Mind you, in the ready to buy department, Gü brownies are quite nice.
