I am not skimping any more than I have the past few years - but being mostly broke anyway I have been opting for handcrafted items if possible, and my family does a gift exchange thing where everyone has 2 people to gift to (one which everyone knows about and a secret santa gift) and so that makes it easier . . .

I never have any money, so yes, but no more than in the last years. Somehow, though, I always spend much more money on presents that I really can afford, so January would be pretty lean if I couldn't rely on some relatives giving me money for Christmas. Somehow, it always works out :-)!

I'm actually a little better off than I was this time last year (no more school debt), so I might spend a little more on christmas and help that ol economy out a little bit.

I said "little" a lot just there.
