dear internet,

Say you had a boyfriend and you spent a lot of money on his birthday gift. Now it's been 4 1/2 months since your own birthday and he still hasn't gotten you anything except a card and an empty promise of one. What's the most appropriate way to insist he still get you one, when it appears it's slipped his conscience?
