dear internet,

not trying to offend the previously asked questioner on the subject, but these situations do perplex me. I do recognize that there are people who are more or less suited, or adapted, to monogamy, but personally I never really understood the act of cheating. too me it's not about how much you love (or even if you love) someone, if I just casually flirting with someone who I may be interested in developing something more with I don't start looking in other directions until that feels resolved.

I know other people feel differently and I don't expect men I date to not date others even I wont, but when it comes to cheating on an actual partner... I don't know, it just seems strange to me. not morally wrong or anything like that, just completely strange.

so what do you say my dear internet, do you understand cheating?

(understanding does not mean approving, even though it might!)
