dear internet,

so my headaches are being caused by a grape-sized or so growth in my cranium that isnt supposed to be there. interesting.

despite the obvious concern, i find that there isnt much point in worrying about things i cant fix, so while the doctors figure out what they want to do my husband and i entertained possibilities:

1) its an alien egg
2) its a malignant implanted substance that will take over my mind and cause me to crave the flesh of the living
3) its an unborn twin

(sure i will take it seriously. its my brain. but really, what's getting all mopey going to do?)

so then came the obvious question:

what to name it?

Well, if it were an alien egg, wouldn't it need a really alien name? Or would it already have a name?

Also, have you watched any of those creeptastic shows on twins which were absorbed before birth? OMG. Seriously strange stuff - though those usually aren't in the skull.

And to add another possibility - Athena was birthed fully formed from the skull of her father Zeus (imagine the headache before delivery!), so you could be about to give skull-birth to a god or goddess :)

    1) If it's an alien egg, name it Eugene
    2) If it's zombie-poison substance, name it Gertrude
    3) If it's your unborn twin, name it David Bowie

omg E, i hope you are ok. carla is a good name though, so is bill. it's best to be on first-name basis with it.

    could be fitting, no?
I love the humor by way of coping. Good adaptation, because you're right, if you freaked out then you'd just have 2 problems (one being that you were freaking out!)

Bob. It's always gotta be Bob. nod

Also... Saying "hope you feel better" just doesn't really seem to fit, so... I hope, in the long run, that you're ok. Really, really.
