dear internet,

I have developed what's called optic neuritis in my left eye - essentially it's an inflammation of the optic nerve which causes fuzzy vision in the affected eye . . . It's annoying, but if all goes well should go away within about 4 - 6 weeks.

Has anyone had this or known someone who has? If yes, any comments would be appreciated . . .

Note: I am seeing a fantastic ophthalmologist, so I'm covered medically - just wondering about other people's experiences with this.
