dear internet, Im a mother of a 13 yr old girl and she has an 8 th grade semi formal at school where all her girlfriends will be wearing fancy dresses but my daughter will not wear a dress she refuses to go shopping for a dress she never wears dresses when i tell her she has to go out shopping for a dress she refusses almost comes to tears she is kind of a tomboy is this normal for a girl her age i know she wants to go to Semi formal but can't not figure out why she will not wear a dress?
