dear internet,

hello again!
i have strayed, but in the moment of need i come back to you, internet. so:
i picked up knitting and i'm thinking of learning to spin. but living in a place where we're getting 30 celsius (around 86 F?) at midnight some nights, i'm considering the wisdom of working with wool.
no brazilian yarn companies have wool yarn to sell, although i know where to find it really cheap on ebay. i have a wool/acrylic blend man sized turtleneck sweater and i wear it fairly often, to go to the movies with that strong air conditioning, and i wear jeans jackets every day, even outdoors (the sleeves protect me from the sun and the air between the jackets and the skin is a good insulator).
so, if i use sock yarn or other thin yarn for a pretty cardigan, will that work?
