Is it possible to be in love with two people at the same time?

My current boyfriend is wonderful. I am head over heels in love with him and could see myself spending a very happy life with him. It's a kind of comfortable love. There is another guy, though, a friend from high school, who I also love. It would never ever work between us. If we ever tried it we would be constantly fighting, and it would ruin the great open non-sexual relationship we have now. Still I can't help fantasizing about him, which, I am afraid may bode poorly for my current relationship.
