My housemate has just been a bit careless and got chased by four hoodies who wanted to beat him up. And I thought I moved into a posh area of town! It was a reflex on his part, him and me both hate people blowing smoke into our face, so we blow it straight back. Of course it's not the right thing to do in the dark, alone, in the park... but he is usually a very calm person, and he never starts fights. It was really just a reflex, we think, but at the same time, his refusal to be mistreated by a gang...

I just love being alone in a park at night, slowly feeling the natural environment claiming back a little of the town, thinking thoughts... and I also don't like the idea of just cowering from people who are being disrespectful... and I am a lazy wuss... What next?
