dear internet,
how many of you constantly wonder (as in: every day) if you are: living life the way you should according to your dreams/ wondering if your dreams are the right ones/ wondering if one is on the right track or wasting time etc?
or do you all just enjoy the present without all these philosophical doubts?

Oh man. I've been in the mood for an existentialist conversation for a couple weeks.
See, if you wonder this, then you aren't living the life the way you wish to be...otherwise you would not question if you were happy or not.
Though, I undermine what I preach, seeing as I go through the same thoughts.
i think it's more like being anxious that you've taken the wrong path or are wasting time. i'm just not one of those happy-go-lucky people who can let go and enjoy things for what they are, in case one day i regret not having taken a different road instead.
i just kind of run on the theory that if you arent finding yourself happy or at least generally content, something needs to change. whining and wondering about it dont help much, so get moving on changing it. i went to college. i thought i liked my field of study. i got out. within a year i was bored. i said screw it and joined the army in a totally unrelated field. now i love most of the things i do, but there are certain things which bum me out, like never seeing my husband. so instead of wondering if i was an idiot for taking an assignment a continent away, i figure out a way to change my situation for the future. makes me feel productive and doesnt waste time on that pesky "regret" feeling.
but thats just me... dont live with regrets, because you cant change the things in the past. work on the present and plan for the future instead.
