dear internet,

I am in love with a friend who unfortunately for me is in a relationship with someone else. It’s been very hard for me to keep all of my feelings inside and all I can think of is how much I would like our relationship to evolve into something more than a friendship. I suspect that he might feel the same way about me but I am not sure since we have never discussed this subject before. I don’t want to cause any waves in his current relationship or lose him as a friend but at the same time I feel as I can’t continue in my current stage either. Should I tell him how I feel about him?
