dear internet,
I've spent the past five weeks in Mexico studying abroad, and the experience has totally changed my mind about what I want to do with the rest of my life. I came down here a history major and Spanish minor, and now I'm pretty set on double majoring. I could pull off both majors in the two years I have left, but I'm being offered a wonderful opportunity to study abroad here again in the fall semester of my senior year. If I take this offer, it will put off my graduation for another semester and put me into my sixth year of undergrad (since I transferred twice). However, my scholarship will cover me if I need to attend for the extra semester, and studying abroad will actually be cheaper than attending my home institution.
My question, then, is this: is studying abroad for a semester worth the extra time and money I will have to spend in college before finally graduating?
