Dear Internet,

If a person identified themselves as being of one sexual persuasion, yet fell in love with a person of their non-preferred gender, should they change the definition of his or her sexuality?

For example: A girl identifies herself as a lesbian. She falls in love, however, with a man, and gets married, yet still prefers women to men. Can she still call herself gay?

Or: A heterosexual man falls in love with another man, yet prefers women.

What do you think? All comments are appreciated.
