dear internet,

I dated a guy earlier this year and the last time we had sex he didn’t use a condom even though (in the heat of passion) I asked for one. We have since broken up and I haven’t been tested. I feel healthy...but uneasy about it anyway. Should I ask him if he’s clean? I can’t decide if the horrendous conversation outweighs the inconvenience/uncomfortable process of going back to the clinic.
