dear internet,

Is it cruel and sadistic to lure your girlfriend to the center of a college campus on Valentine's Day with the promise of singing her a romantic song but then actually breaking up with her, revealing that you slept with her roommate - and revealing this information in front of two thousand college students, some of whom started chanting "Slut! Slut! Slut!" at her (because she cheated on him)?
