dear internet,

I just watched million dollar baby (oui, je suis en retarde).
While the acting was admirable and the cast worked incredibly well together, I have a serious problem with the ending.
Euthanasia?
Hello?!
When was suicide, assisted or otherwise ever an acceptable option? It leaves me disappointed and pissed off. I mean, the whole thing was based on the brute determination of Swank & Eastwoods characters. And then they found they loved each other. As if they ended it by folding to despair.
Why the hell didn't they just get married after she was paralyzed? Yes yes it would be sexless and he'd have to take care of her, but wasn't that what sustained their working relationship?
Goddamn that ending - I feel so ripped off!
Did you feel ripped off?
