dear internet,

i am attending a party in a few hours, at which i will undoubtedly get slapfaced drunk. the last time an evening saw me in such a deplorable state, i left my iPod on the metro and never saw it again. however, it is a long walk from where i live to this party, and it is a lonely one without music. should i bring my new iPod, or should i enjoy the party and my intoxication in the peace of mind that i do not risk losing another piece of expensive equipment?

    bring it, but put it in your jacket inner pocket (or some other "i wont leave it out" type place on your person or possessions) when you arrive before you start toasting.
