dear internet,

why in this burnt-out, pockmarked, death-ridden, and generally miscarried world do some women (and i suppose in certain exceptional cases, some men) feel compelled to make it worse by wearing flesh-coloured tights? they are not very flattering, i have to say. they cause the limbs to resemble overboiled hagfish, or evil lampreys.
