Dear internet,

About a decade ago, my then partner did the equivalent of going out to the shops and never coming back.

Yesterday he contacted me. Yes, I answered. (Is it humanly possibly to not feel curious and let it go?).

I can't think this through. And am in shock, I think. I haven't slept all night.

He wants to know if he can contact me, which I thought was answered by my replying to him. If he wants to talk... what do I do?
