I am sort-of´-Christian (background yes, not sure if I'll go to church this year, though) and I will not have a tree, because I spend the season with different parts of the family who all have trees and don't see why I should spend money on something I'll only be able to enjoy for one evening. Also, the poor tree! Oh, and my sister is allergic.
I am very bah humbug. I see the tree corpses on top of the SUV's on the highway and grit my teeth and get even more bahhumbuggier. That said, my landlords put little lights on the bush in front of my apartment to match their decorations and I thought that was sweet. And last year I put a red bow on my rosemary plant.
i am not a christian. i married one though, but he doesnt want a tree ever. not like i am ever in the same country as he when this time of year rolls around. i think we may have been in the same locale twice... and both times impending heading somewhere else. just impractical for us...

Does a fake christmas tree count?
Absolutely!
