dear internet, in whichever country you are in, how often do you notice commercials for products that seem too-good-to-be-true, and then after investigating the claims, find out that it is a scam or much too overhyped to be worth the money they want?

Caveat: nothing you see on late night American television counts. That's ALL scam.

Addendum: not for this question, but what should be done about it?
