What are you thankful for? I know there are combinations, but pick your favorite.

And for those of you who don't celebrate this strange yet illustrious holiday, still pick what you are thankful for.

Right now I'm especially thankful for my family and my in-laws getting on so well. Aside from that, life and education for sure.

Does thankfulness not suggest someone or something to be thankful to? I thank my housemate for being a great one.
If I were religious at all, I would possible be thankful for being able to hear music...

JohnnyA, I completely agree with you...I just thought I'd attempt to embrace the spirit and make a question without smartass choices :)

Not having tv has enabled me to enjoy holidays on my own terms and to ignore the business ickyness that surrounds them. I'm poor, so I can't go shopping--miss the propaganda there, miss it on tv...it's really nice. I get a break from school to think about what I'm grateful for, or at winter break to think about the not-Christian things I think about then. It's great. I guess I'm thankful for that, too.

thankful for having fairly superficial issues to deal with...and having a full belly. The unbelievable amount of food consumed at Thanksgiving (and any other holiday actually) always makes me think about all those empty bellies out there.

I think a list like this just reminds me of all the things I should do, that I haven't done. Odd.
