dear internet,

So, we have this test question that we're discussing...I'll spare you the details for the sake of fun, and ask you this: can we answer the question based on what he's asking, or do we have to figure out some other way to determine the varied status of women?

ummm...I know you are trying to determine the varied status of women in medieval europe, but are you asking if you can answer the question based on the question, or on what he has told you?... ummm ... I think some more detail is required.. just a wee bit more, you know, just a teesy weensy bit more... or how about reading a book, or googling, for the answer ;)?!

Well, the problem is that we spent the past few weeks going over the different groups of women and how little their experiences and status coincided, and now he's asking us question about the status of women in Medieval Europe...we're basically falling over ourselves trying to include every group of women. And I just thought it would be fun to see what the internet said. : )

We were too. It was like, "Okay, for a month we're going to study all the subsets that women in medieval Europe fall into, and how no two groups had the same status, experience, etc. Now here's your test: make me a vast generalization about all women ignoring all that subset stuff".

He's a really good teacher, too. This test was just wonky.
