dear internet,

I am a college student who just got back from my incredibly short fall break to be confronted with an incredibly difficult paper to write by Friday, among other things to do. I had previously made plans with a friend (who has a car) to go see a couple of our favorite comedians on Wed. night about 45 minutes away from campus. However, the strain of the work is getting to me, as are my friend's continued comments of how much I'm inconveniencing her to drive me to the show and back.

Right now I'm leaning towards canceling. What do you think I should do?

go to the show because you should enjoy it, and not sleep to do all the work (4 votes)

    what sucks more is that Thanksgiving break isn't any longer. I suggest working your ass off this week and then treating yourself on Saturday. Go to Cold Stone and catch a movie. If you haven't seen The Departed yet, it's playing at the Varsity and it's amazing.
