Most ketchups in the stores have so much chemicals in them that they probably would stay "fresh" far longer than any of us, but the fridge does up the ods of that being true for all kinds, so to speak.
Yes, it says so on the bottol, for up to 8 weeks.. but u know, I can't remember ever having done so when I was little - u think their putting something in the ketchup now...?

No need for regrigeration if you can store it dark and below room temperature. Shaking he bottle helps with the juice-issue.
